The latest Travel Massive Ljubljana meetup brought together a mix of professionals from the worlds of tourism, hospitality, and travel tech for an inspiring evening of fresh ideas, engaging conversations, and relaxed networking.

Hosted in the heart of Slovenia’s capital, the event served as a platform to connect local and international minds passionate about the future of travel and tourism.

Spotlight on Sustainability: Introducing the GenNZ Project

An important paert of the evening was the presentation of the GenNZ project, a new Erasmus+ initiative developed by European Sustainability Academy – ESA Crete (Greece) and EMC – Entrepreneurship Movement Club (Slovenia). The project aims to enhance green skills and sustainable competencies among tourism professionals in Slovenia and Greece.

As part of the initiative, attendees were introduced to the upcoming GenNZ Summer School 2025—a free educational program that will provide training in sustainable tourism and green career development. The Summer School promises to be a valuable resource for those looking to future-proof their careers in sustainable tourism.

A Global Connection: Ian Cumming Joins the Meetup

Adding a special touch to the evening was the presence of Ian Cumming, founder of Travel Massive, a global network uniting over 80,000 travel professionals across 150 cities. His participation underscored the international spirit of the event and highlighted the strength of global collaboration in shaping the future of travel.
