The certificate confirms your in-depth knowledge and mastery of key sustainability approaches in tourism:<br>\u2705 Carbon footprint management and implementation of the circular economy<br>\u2705 Understanding ESG standards and sustainable leadership<br>\u2705 Effective communication of sustainability practices with guests<br>\u2705 Practical skills for working in green destinations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This certificate, part of a broader European transition to future-oriented professions, provides a major competitive advantage when seeking employment, applying for grants, or developing your own career path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program Content<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li class=\"\">In-depth introductory webinar with a comprehensive digital resource pack<\/li><li class=\"\">Four thematic modules: green competencies, sustainable practice, ESG implementation in tourism, digital tools<\/li><li class=\"\">Individual mentoring with industry experts<\/li><li class=\"\">Interactive learning materials: video reflections, podcasts, case studies<\/li><li class=\"\">Practical training at selected locations<\/li><li class=\"\">Expert reflection and evaluation of acquired knowledge<\/li><li class=\"\">Final report and official European micro-qualification<\/li><li class=\"\">Optional public presentation of your work at the closing event<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc65 <strong>Who is the program for?<\/strong><br>The program is designed for anyone who wants to gain specialized knowledge in the field of sustainable tourism:<br>\u2705 Young people (18\u201330): job seekers, graduates, beginners in tourism or hospitality<br>\u2705 Adults (30+): individuals undergoing a career transition or upgrading existing skills<br>\u2705 Educators and mentors in vocational education systems<br>\u2705 Employees and entrepreneurs in hospitality, tourism, accommodation, winemaking, and the natural and cultural heritage sectors<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u270d\ufe0f <strong>Application and Candidate Selection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li class=\"\">Applications are open in April 2025 via an online form on the EMC Slovenia website<\/li><li class=\"\">Selection notifications will be sent no later than April 25, 2025<\/li><li class=\"\">Selected candidates will receive a welcome package with access to introductory materials and a detailed schedule<\/li><li class=\"\">Only 20 participants per country will be accepted. Each module becomes available only on its scheduled start date.<br>Each module includes multiple elements\/themes related to learning specific <strong>KSBs<\/strong> (Knowledge, Skills &amp; Behaviours), which can be selected based on participant roles. Some elements are optional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Online modules are supported by special live webinars with tourism and hospitality experts and guest speakers from Greece and Slovenia.
